First of all, thank God Glossier started shipping to Canada! Unlike many other brands online beauty gurus rave about, I did not find it difficult to get on board and start my Glossier journey at all. Simply because, the price point was amazing and the products were very real – in the sense that I could see them readily fitting into a working girl’s collection. Not over the top, not too fancy, just simple, amazing makeup & no fuss skin care.

I will be doing a series of posts about the Glossier products that I own and my honest opinion about them.

I placed my first order from Glossier about 6 months back, when I was looking to buy some great cream blushes that wouldn’t break the bank and would still look classy. Glossier Cloud Paint was the answer. The swatches on their website on different skin tones were supremely helpful. I bought them in three shades – Beam, Haze & Dusk. A little goes a long way – which means one tube will last you forever.

Beam & Dusk almost look like nothing on my skin, but look fab on my cheeks!

The colours are simple and glide beautifully onto the skin. I just use my fingers to dab them on and blend them. No shine, no sparkle, just some natural colour to give you that ‘lit from within’ look. The colour range is limited but sufficient (!!) and I feel every colour would look amazing on lighter & deeper skin tones. These are super versatile as you could mix them and create your own set of blush shades!

I would buy these again for myself and would gift them to every girl I love!
